Assmaah leads, advocates, and drives sport for social change and youth development initiatives across Australia and the Asia-Pacific. She is motivated by social justice and has passion for youth development. Assmaah uses her expertise in program design, project management, youth work and community engagement to create the conditions for sustainable change.

Assmaah has co-created several local and global programs and campaigns to promote inclusive and equitable practices for women and girls in sport, as well as to build the capacity of young people so that they can lead positive change in their lives.

As Chief Operating Officer, Assmaah is responsible for developing and overseeing effective, scalable operations that drive impact and innovation at Creating Chances. Creating Chances is a leading youth development through sport organisation operating in schools and communities across Australia that achieves health, education, and employment outcomes.
