Liverpool Local Active Partnership

Following the White Paper Tackling Inactivity and Inequity in Western Sydney: A Systems Approach”, co-authored with the Centre for Western Sydney at Western Sydney University, we are advancing our efforts by forming Local Active Partnerships at the LGA level. These partnerships aim to foster local networks and drive place-based solutions that enable more active lives.

Building on the momentum of WSYD Moving’s launch as a charity at the WSYD Moving Symposium in November 2024, we convened our first Local Active Partnership meeting in Liverpool in December 2024. The event was a resounding success, with partners committing to bi-monthly, in-person meetings to sustain the collaborative effort.
