Dave Wells
After moving to Australia 15 years ago Dave enjoyed a long stint at Melbourne City Mission on the Executive team and leading early years, employment and education programs. A highlight was the development of the Hester Hornbrook Academy (a school for homeless young people) and the associated Living Learning program which is funded as a social impact bond with the Vic State Government. Finishing up with MCM during covid Dave moved to Reclink Australia.
Now a passionate advocate for the role that sport and active recreation play in bringing about social inclusion better physical health and better mental health, particularly in the lives of people in Australia who face significant challenges and barriers.
Over the last four years the team at Reclink have worked hard to put in place data and impact measurement systems and processes and to establish the organisation as a key health promotion partner to various governments and government agencies.
