Lauren Nicholls

Lauren started with the Dialogue as a Policy & Research Officer in 2017. At this time she co-authored several of the Dialogue’s policy papers, including Mapping Sydney’s Latte Line and Putting domestic and family violence on the agenda. She left the Dialogue in late 2019, for a stint in the justice sector of the public service. She now specialises in simply communicating complex information across multiple audience types. She returned to the Dialogue as the Senior Policy Manager in 2021 and has since been promoted to Head of Policy & Analysis. Lauren is now responsible for the development and delivery of the Dialogue’s research, public policy, and advocacy agenda.

As a Western Sydney resident, Lauren has a specific interest in calling attention to geospatial inequality and improving the region’s green infrastructure. She is also committed to addressing gendered issues, especially in relation to violence against women, and women in sport.
