Rania Matta

For the past six years, Rania has worked in Health Promotion, where she led the District's coordination and delivery of Stepping On and Healthy and Active for Life Online—both state-funded programs aimed at improving physical activity and preventing falls among older adults.

In her current role as Deputy Director, she oversees a range of programs and research initiatives aiming at improving physical activity and healthy eating across settings and age groups.

Rania is a registered physiotherapist with experience in both hospital and community settings. She holds a Master's in Public Health and has recently completed a Master's in Health Service Management.
