Sheron Sultan

Sheron Sultan, the founder of Yatimba!, has dedicated herself to empowering young individuals since 2010, driven by her personal experiences with bullying and stereotyping. She began by volunteering at youth centers, where she developed a passion for supporting young people.

In 2020, she launched Afro Step™️, a dynamic program that combines high-intensity exercise with African music, promoting physical fitness and boosting self-confidence.

Building on this success, Sheron expanded her impact with Yatimba!, a wellbeing program shaped by the everyday experiences of young people. During PE sessions, the program empowers students to thrive despite challenges such as peer pressure, bullying, social media, and developing healthy habits that affect students of all ages and backgrounds.

This curriculum-based program helps build students’ confidence and enhances their mental and physical well-being through engaging learning activities, collaborative storytelling, and rhythmic movement.
