For over 20 years WentWest has been part of the Western Sydney community, delivering support and education to primary care health professionals such as general practitioners, practice nurses and allied health providers, working with key partners to progress the region’s health system.

In July 2015, WentWest became the Western Sydney Primary Health Network (WSPHN), allowing us to expand the work we do with our partners to deliver better health outcomes for the region.

We’re focused on addressing the region’s most pressing health challenges and finding service providers to meet the health needs of Western Sydney community members. Together with health professionals, partners from both the health and hospital sector and community members, we’ve identified health service gaps and work towards commissioning solutions in priority areas such as; mental health, urgent care, chronic disease, alcohol and other drugs, First Nations health, aged care and child and family health.
